Este monumento se inauguró el 16 de mayo de 1997. Está construido en pizarra y cuarzo y muestra las distintas disciplinas del deporte. Es una obra del escultor Héctor Lombana Piñeres originario de Cartagena. 
Se erigió en homenaje a todos los deportistas de Colombia. Se localiza en carrera 1ª y calle 52.

This monument was inaugurated on May 16, 1997. It is built in slate and quartz shows the different disciplines of the sport. It is a work of sculptor Hector Lombana Piñeres originally from Cartagena.

All athletes of Colombia was erected in tribute. It is located on 52nd Street and 1st career.
